Course overview:

This inclusive course is designed for beauty professionals seeking specialization in laserbased hair removal and skin rejuvenation techniques. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of laser technology, hair removal principles, and skin rejuvenation treatments. Through a combination of theory, demonstrations, and handson practice, participants will master the skills necessary to perform safe and effective laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments for clients of all skin types and concerns.

• Introduction to laser hair removal and laser rejuvenation
• Legislations related to laser hair removal and laser rejuvenation
• Health and safety, device safety and maintenance, roles and responsibility of LPA & LPS
• anatomy and physiology, skin, hair, melanin and vein structure and functions
• Fitzpatrick scale
• Client consultation, patch testing, contraindications and contraactions and treatment planning
• Treatment process, electromagnetic spectrum and science behind laser hair removal
• Equipment tools and product knowledge
• Aftercare and homecare information
• Practical Q&A session
• Certification and photos

Course requirements:

Level 3 beauty therapy or equivalent

Dress Code:

A professional beauty uniform or scrubs are preferred, but if you are new to the industry plain black long sleeve clothing is fine (long sleeves must be able to be rolled up to prevent cross contamination). Jewellery to be removed, hair tied off the face, no excessive long nails, no flip flops or sliders, all shoes must be close toed.
