Course overview:

This course is designed for beauty professionals seeking specialization in laser hair removal techniques. Participants will gain indepth knowledge of laser technology, hair growth cycles, skin types, and safety protocols. Through a combination of theory, demonstrations, and handson practice, participants will master the skills necessary to perform safe and effective laser hair removal treatments for clients of all skin types and hair colours.

• Legislations related to laser hair removal
• Health and safety, device safety and maintenance, roles and responsibility of LPA & LPS
• Anatomy and physiology, skin, hair, and vein structure and functions
• Fitzpatrick scale
• Client consultation, patch testing, contraindications and contraactions and treatment planning
• Treatment process, electromagnetic spectrum and science behind laser hair removal
• Equipment tools and product knowledge
• Aftercare and homecare information
• Practical Q&A session
• Certification and photos

Course requirements:

Level 3 beauty therapy or equivalent required.

Dress Code:

A professional beauty uniform or scrubs are preferred, but if you are new to the industry plain black long sleeve clothing is fine (long sleeves must be able to be rolled up to prevent cross contamination). Jewellery to be removed, hair tied off the face, no excessive long nails, no flip flops or sliders, all shoes must be close toed.
