Course Overview:

This course is designed for beauty professionals who wish to specialise in the art of lip blush tattooing. Lip blush, also known as lip tattooing or lip tinting, is a semipermanent cosmetic procedure that enhances the natural beauty of the lips by adding colour, definition, and symmetry. Participants will learn the latest techniques and best practices for achieving beautiful, longlasting lip enhancements that meet the unique preferences of their clients.

• Introduction to lip blush
• Legislations related to lip blush
• Health and safety, sanitation and sterilisation methods, sharps information, injuries, pathogens
• Client consultation, managing client expectations, patch testing, contraindications and contraactions
• Equipment and tools, machine knowledge
• Anatomy & physiology, skin structure, healing cascade & lip anatomy
• Techniques
• Treatment process, colour theory, Fitzpatrick scale, colour correction
• Treatment planning and pricing
• Aftercare and homecare
• Practical session, Q&A and assessment
• Certification and photos
• Course requirements:
• Level 2 beauty therapy or equivalent

Dress Code:

A professional beauty uniform or scrubs are preferred, but if you are new to the industry plain black long sleeve clothing is fine (long sleeves must be able to be rolled up to prevent cross contamination). Jewellery to be removed, hair tied off the face, no excessive long nails, no flip flops or sliders, all shoes must be close toed.
