Course contents

• Introduction to dermal filler
• Legislations relating to dermal filler
•  Health and safety, sanitation & sterilistion methods, sharps info, patient safety and hygiene etc
• Anatomy and Physiology, structure and function of the lip skin, skin anatomy, collagen and elastin, the skins ageing process etc
• Client consultation, managing client expectations etc
• Treatment, injection sites, contraindications and contraactions , topical anesthetics, techniques and protocol etc
• Aftercare and homecare

Qualification:

On completion of passing the course, you will receive a diploma certificate which will qualify you to work as a professional therapist/technician. The courses are fully accredited which means you will be insured as well.

Course requirements:

• Back Ground Requirements (one of the following)
• Pathway into Aesthetics
• Fast track into aesthetic
• Level 3 or level 4 beauty qualification
• SPMU Qualification
• Medical Registration
• Dental Registration
• Phlebotomist
• Once completing and passing this course you will qualify and be able to obtain insurance as an Aesthetic Practitioner in foundation dermal fillers which including injecting the lips, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
• This course includes both practical and theory work.

Dress Code:

A professional beauty uniform or scrubs are preferred, but if you are new to the industry plain black long sleeve clothing is fine (long sleeves must be able to be rolled up to prevent cross contamination). Jewellery to be removed, hair tied off the face, no excessive long nails, no flip flops or sliders, all shoes must be close toed.
